Looking for raw milk in Citrus County or Central Florida? You can find it right here in Inverness.
Greens and Goodness carries Florida raw milk labeled and sold for pet use only. It's one of those items we're asked about often, so we've put together the basics on what raw milk is, how it's sold in Florida, and what to know before you stop in.
Availability can change, so we recommend checking current stock if you're making a special trip.
What Is Raw Milk?
Raw milk is simply milk that hasn't been pasteurized, meaning straight from the cow. Pasteurization uses heat to reduce harmful germs and pathogens that may be present in milk.
Because raw milk isn't pasteurized, Florida has specific requirements for how it can be sold and labeled.
Can You Buy Raw Milk in Florida?
Yes. Raw milk can be purchased in Florida when it is properly labeled and sold for animal use.
Raw milk and raw milk products are not approved for human consumption in Florida.
The raw milk you'll find at Greens and Goodness is labeled and sold for pet consumption only.

Where Does Our Raw Milk Come From?
We support local dairy farms, HammerTime Hollow and Musgrave Dairy. We receive 2 deliveries each week ensuring we always have fresh raw milk available. We stock gallons, half gallons, and pints of raw milk, plus quarts of raw cream. Please note, because raw milk hasn't been pasteurized, it may contain harmful bacteria or other pathogens. Florida does not approve raw milk or raw milk products for human consumption.
At Greens and Goodness, all raw milk is labeled and sold for pet consumption only.
